The Profound Impact of the Stewards of Saint Peter

The Papal Foundation is a charitable organization in the United States dedicated to fulfilling the requests of the Holy Father for the needs of the Catholic Church in developing countries.

Since its inception in 1988, The Papal Foundation and its Stewards of Saint Peter have allocated more than $250 million in grants and scholarships around the world to more than 2000 projects selected by Pope Francis, Emeritus Pope Benedict and Saint John Paul II.

 

The impact of Papal Foundation grants has been staggering, providing support in full or in part for:

rectories, convents & monasteries

hospitals

priests, religious and laity scholarships awarded

technology grants for Catholic television and radio stations

schools

humanitarian grants, including COVID relief, and the support of migrants, refugees and the homeless
