Papal Foundation Trustee John Crowley, Chairman of Amicus Therapeutics and former national chairman of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, has lived an amazing life. John recently had the honor to give a commencement address at the University of Notre Dame on May 29, 2022. But it was unique in that the address was to the Notre Dame graduating class of 2020! Delayed two years by COVID, John’s address focused on his three essential qualities of great leaders — Beginning small, Great optimism and Faith — and ends with his one big secret necessary for success in life.

During his speech John mentions the anticipation of the birth of his first grandchild. Well, John and his wife Aileen welcomed their granddaughter Stella Aileen Crowley to the family on Saturday, June 18. Here’s a picture of their son John Jr. with Stella.
